Job Position: Accountant
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Summary

We are seeking an Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and analyse financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  2. Budget management
  3. Oversee bank reconciliations, accounts payable & receivable.
  4. Manage income, expenditure records, and debt recovery.
  5. Maintain records of clients, consultants, and commission payments.
  6. Handle inventory valuation and vendor reconciliation.
  7. Ensure statutory compliance (FIRS, LIRS, PAYE, pension, etc.).
  8. Prepare tax returns and financial reports for decision-making.
  9. Conduct audits to detect errors and prevent fraud.
  10. Utilise accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.).

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting/finance.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Salary
N250,000 monthly + other benefits.
