Job Position: Human Resource Manager (Upstream Oil & Gas Experience)
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead and execute HR operations, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, policy implementation, and compliance.
  2. Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, developing sourcing strategies, and leading onboarding for new hires.
  3. Serve as a trusted advisor to staff and management, resolving workplace conflicts and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  4. Coordinating the performance management process and supporting managers in setting goals and development plans for their teams.
  5. Overseeing HR administrative functions such as leave, attendance, benefits, and payroll support.
  6. Ensuring full compliance with labour laws and internal policies, and coordinating statutory filings.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field, with a professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, etc.) being required. A master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of overall HR experience, with at least 5 years in a generalist HR role.
  3. A deep understanding of Nigerian labour laws, HR regulatory frameworks, HRIS, and reporting systems.
  4. Possessing skills in communication, leadership, recruitment, employee relations, and analytical and report writing.
  5. Demonstrating attributes such as professionalism, integrity, proactiveness, and strategic thinking.
  6. Experience in the upstream oil & gas sector or similar industries is highly desirable and non-negotiable.
