Job Ascentech Services Limited: Senior Accountant

Job Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage all accounting transactions
  2. Prepare budget forecasts
  3. Publish financial statement in time
  4. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  5. Reconcile account payable and receivable
  6. Ensure timely bank payments
  7. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  8. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  9. Reports on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  10. Audit financial transactions and documents
  11. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  12. Comply with financial policies and regulations
  13. Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
  14. Preparing budget forecasts

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Accounting
  2. ICAN certification is required
  3. Must have 2 -3 years experience as a Senior Accountant
  4. Experience in the ERP (enterprise resource planning) environment is compulsory
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  7. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  8. Should have good working knowledge in Accounting and Reporting
  9. Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)
