Job Position: Executive Driver

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a hardworking, vibrant executive driver to join our team.
  • The driver will play a crucial role in transporting the senior management to and from various destinations, including meetings, airports and other locations in a safe and timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Confidentiality: The driver often has access to private conversations and sensitive information. They must maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: The driver is tasked with ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition. This includes regular cleaning, both in and outer areas, refueling, and scheduling maintenance or repairs as needed
  • Professionalism and Courtesy: The driver must exhibit a high level of professionalism, including appropriate dress and conduct. They should be courteous and respectful to the executive.
  • Work time and Flexibility: Executive drivers often need to adapt to last-minute changes in schedules or routes, and may be required to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Route Planning: To ensure timely arrival, the driver should be familiar with the best routes, including alternate routes in case of traffic or road closures. They may also use navigation tools to monitor traffic conditions
  • Time Management: They need to manage their time effectively to ensure that the executive is picked up and dropped off promptly
  • Assisting with Luggage and Packages: The driver may assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or other items, ensuring the safety and security of these belongings.

Job Requirements

  • High School Degree or any certificate obtained.
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws and signs
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information’s.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Driver
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A clean driving record
  • Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
  • Familiarity with GPS devices
  • Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods
  • A polite and professional disposition
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour).
