Babban Gona is an innovative model designed to serve the bottom of the pyramid and transform agriculture into a job-creation engine. Through this agricultural franchise, Babban Gona offers a suite of services to smallholder farmers, helping them to overcome the challenges of fragmentation and low economies of scale.

Job Position: Graphics Designer (NYSC)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Study design briefs and determine requirements
  2. Schedule projects and define budget constraints
  3. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  4. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  5. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using different design softwares
  6. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  7. Work with copywriters, social media managers and brand analysts to produce final design
  8. Test graphics across various media, and amend designs after feedback
  9. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  10. Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs
  11. Create visual elements such as video contents, logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver a message
  12. Design layouts, including selection of colors, images, and typefaces
  13. Present design concepts to team lead
  14. Incorporate changes recommended by clients or art directors into final designs
  15. Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
  16. Define requirements, visualize and create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.
  17. Shape the visual aspects of websites, fliers, posters, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.

  • This role reports to the Lead, Talent Management

Other Requirements:

  1. Must be a serving corper in Lagos
  2. Creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design
  3. A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Dropbox, and Google applications
