Job Position: Mechanic II
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 3-year renewable contract

Responsibilities

  1. Perform repair and servicing of petrol engine Etesia machines used for field operations.
  2. Repair and service mowing machines to ensure optimal performance for field work.
  3. Conduct routine maintenance on all related mechanical and operational equipment.
  4. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the workshop and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
  5. Conduct quality checks on spare parts before use for maintenance.
  6. Perform any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Trade Test III certificate with a minimum of six (6) years’ experience or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any other related course with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies:

  1. Have technical knowledge of mechanical equipment like Etesia machine, Gang mower etc.
  2. Be proficient in Petrol Engine Repairs.
  3. Have the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  4. Be open to continuous learning, including the ability to learn and unlearn.
