Job Position: Pharmacist

Job Location: Akute Branch, Ogun

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Compounding and dispensing medications, following physicians’ prescriptions.
  2. Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, providing advice on interventions, and informing customers of potential side effects.
  3. Instructing customers on the proper administration of prescribed medications.
  4. Conducting health and wellness screenings, including blood pressure checks, temperature measurements, and blood sugar level monitoring.
  5. Maintaining accurate customer records for a seamless and organized pharmacy operation.
  6. Ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment for both staff and customers.
  7. Efficiently managing pharmacy inventory and conducting regular stocktaking procedures.
  8. Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, and promptly removing expired or damaged drugs from the inventory.
  9. Strictly adhering to all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.

Job Requirements
To be considered for the position of Pharmacist, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a community pharmacy setting.
  3. Proven experience as a community pharmacist, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care.
  4. A comprehensive understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
  5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and software applications commonly employed in pharmacies.
  6. Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient and organized pharmacy environment.
  7. Strong operations and supervisory skills to lead and guide the pharmacy team effectively.
  8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear and professional interactions with customers and colleagues.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
