Job Position: Sales Team Lead (Asset Creation / Wealth Management)
Location: Muritala Muhammed Highway, Lagos

Scope and Impact

The Team lead, Asset creation plays a major role in continuously improving risk asset sales/loan disbursement within the company, and strategically creating relationships for customers while ensuring proper and adequate inflow of new customers and outflow of risk assets in the company to ultimately increase and maintain the credit balance of the company for efficient operation.

Job Summary

The Team lead, Consumer Lending (Public Sector) will be responsible for driving and optimising sales within the Asset Creation Team, consistently following up with team members and customers to maintain relationship and generate sales to meet the set target.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain the team staff requirements
  2. Manage day-to-day Consumer Credit team operations.
  3. Build, develop and grow team members for optimum performance
  4. Constantly liaise, coach, mentor and motivate team members for optimal lead generation and conversion.
  5. Responsible for monitoring and ensuring team members meet set targets
  6. Conduct deep-dive analysis on key growth indicators for products, people, and process optimisation.
  7. Generate and contribute via market analysis and customer perception of new products.
  8. Establish and maintain a good customer base
  9. Strategically devise means to help oneself and team members to generate and maintain quality sales contacts
  10. Motivate, train and maintain a healthy and effective team
  11. Identify, develop, and implement process changes towards improving customer satisfaction and sales efficiency.

Key Performance Indicators

  1. New Leads/Opportunities
  2. Client Acquisition and Customer Retention Rate
  3. Sales Volume per team member and collectively
  4. Existing Client Engagement
  5. Upsell/Cross-Sell Rates
  6. Percentage target met periodically

Requirements

  1. Minimum education level – First degree in any discipline from a reputable academic institution.
  2. 5 years+ of progressive experience in sales and marketing of financial products (Consumer Lending)
  3. Post-qualification (s) and professional membership will be an added advantage.
  4. Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals as an individual contributor.
  5. Successful experience building a territory from little or nothing.

Skills / Competencies:

  1. Highly motivated and passionate about sales with a genuine drive to succeed.
  2. Previous experience in driving sales ideally across all company products.
  3. Strong personal network within the industry.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Detail-oriented and able to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time.
  6. Ability to lead and motivate a large team.
  7. Strong sales, analytical, organisational and people skills required.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  9. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, products and procedures
  10. Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment.
  11. Professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic.

Salary
N220,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
